History of Vause Computer Systems Data Analytics

The official data analytics consulting practice of Vause Computer Systems, LLC was started the year 2013. Our very first contract was with the BronzeLens Film Festival. We had the opportunity to transform how BLFF processed and analyzed their unstructured data into meaningful insightful reports about festival demographics.

"Mr. Gary Vause and his company, Vause Computer Systems, have been a valued supplier for BronzeLens Film Festival since 2013. After attending the Film Festival in 2012, Mr. Vause returned in 2013 with a proposal that would move the "Film Favorite Vote" from a pen-and-paper vote by attendees to a digital process using cell phones. The process became known as BVA - BronzeLens Viewer Analytics.

BVA has been a key enhancement to festival operations in 4 ways:

1) it allowed the festival to gain demographic data about festival attendees - data often requested by sponsors

2) the festival was able to dispense with the passing, collection, and tabulation of paper ballots for those who voted for their favorite film

3) the attendees were able to vote for their favorite film using their cell phones

4) Vause Computer Systems was able to create a full report BVA that included the film favorite as well as the demographic info.

BronzeLens is so grateful that Mr. Vause saw a need and filled it. The festival experience for our sponsors and attendees was improved because of the ingenuity and efficiency of BronzeLens Viewer Analytics."
